A London escort agency have been in mourning after a beautiful young woman who worked for them tragically died at the age of 28. Although we can confirm it was not V London Escorts who suffered this terrible loss, we are not at liberty to say which escort agency it was. Laura Main was a blonde, bubbly girl from Scotland, training to be a lawyer in London. What her friends and family didn’t know is that she was living a secret double life as a crazy party girl, involving late nights, drink and drugs. As well as working as a London escort, she also worked as a DJ known as Lady Asbo.

Sadly, Laura was known to have suffered from depression throughout her adult life. Her death is thought to be accidental rather than suicidal, as she seemed to have been improving in recent months. She had taken Mephedrone (now illegal) and Valium on the night of her death, but coroners reported that the cause of her death was a combination of GHB (another legal high which has now been banned) and alcohol. She was found to be 2.5 times over the driving limit, despite being found around 24 hours after her death.

It was an estate agent from Foxtons who discovered her body. He was showing some people around flats in the city for viewings, but when he opened Laura’s door he saw her laying face down on the floor. At first he thought she was sleeping, but then noticed that her hand was blue. The discovery was made on Monday 14th December 2009. The news resurfaced this month after the drug Mephedrone, also known as ‘M-cat’ or ‘Meow Meow’ was banned, now classified as a class B drug.

This story reminds us how fragile life can be, and how important it is to look after ourselves and our bodies.
