Nestled into the prestigious area of Mayfair is Embassy restaurant, tucked behind the Royal Academy. You can choose from seating indoors, or weather permitting, outside on the terrace. The new menu has been created by much acclaimed chef Gary Hollihead who also looks after upper class restaurants ‘Geales’ in Notting Hill and ‘Inn on the Green in Berkshire. The Head Chef at Embassy is highly capable David Kostner, who serves from an a la carte menu covering both lunch and dinner.
Embassy celebrated its first anniversary at a restaurant and private members club after a phenomenal year of business in 2002. Its opulent decor is reminiscent of Vienna in the 1920s, with rich gold and sand colours complimenting the plush dark wood – easily impress your Mayfar escort for the evening with the easy splendour surrounding you.
Your night does not have to end there; after dining, head down the spiral staircase to enjoy a cocktail or two in the translucent red bar. Glass top tables and wave shaped seating frame the dance floor, with the VIP room above with a birds eye view.
