Keep Fit – the Fun Way
A lot of men hate going to the gym. It can be very intimidating – seeing those muscle bound guys lifting weights with ease, and knowing that the same dumbbell would probably crush you half to death. Seeing their rippling washboard stomachs and bulging biceps only makes you feel inadequate, so you retreat back to the safety of your sofa. But there are other ways to keep fit, and they can be much more fun than working out at the gym! Imagine the pride you’ll feel when a sexy English escort swoons at your physique.
If you’d like to go solo, try running or jogging. Choose a place where you love the scenery, and set yourself an easy target first. As your fitness builds up, you can pick up your pace and start going further distances. You’ll love the sense of achievement you get, and it’s a great cardiovascular workout as well as working your muscles.
Make simple adjustments in your daily routine to improve your level of fitness. For example, take the stairs instead of the lift, and if you’re on the underground, walk up the escalator. It doesn’t take much effort on your part, but could be the difference between your jeans buttoning up or not! Try to make similar changes in your diet, choosing a piece of fruit for a snack instead of crisps, or wholegrain cereal instead of a croissant.
If you have more fun hanging out with your mates, why not organise some team sport and get in touch with your competitive side? Football is great; you’re always on the move, walking or sprinting across the pitch. If you’re into something a bit more hardcore, try a game of rugby. It’s not the choice for shrinking violets, but if you don’t mind some rough and tumble, this could be the game for you. Team sports are not only a good way to keep fit and work your muscles, but it’s also a great way to catch up with your mates and spend some quality time with the lads. You could make it a weekly thing; getting into a routine will do wonders for your fitness and for your social life – two birds with one stone! Having your mates watching might also make you work a bit harder, wanting to prove your masculinity and show them how awesome at sport you can be.
Whichever type of exercise you decide to try, remember to stretch properly first. Just because you’re playing a game or doing something gentle, it doesn’t mean that you can’t pull a muscle – and massive discomfort is not what you want to get out of this!
