Making the Most of your Weekend
A large proportion of workers in London have a Monday to Friday job. Weekends are the time when you can look forward to some time to yourself, doing what you enjoy and forgetting the stresses that come with your career. It can be very tempting to play it by ear and see which opportunities come your way on a weekend, but this can backfire and leave you tired or hungover on Monday. Here’s how you get get the most out of your weekend without paying for it afterwards.
If you like to have a heavy night drinking a lot of alcohol and staying up late, Friday is the best time to do this. It might not occur to you to do it straight after you finish work for the week, but if you wait until Saturday you may well not go to bed until Sunday morning, and then the hangover hits you on Monday. Fun nights out with friends can often run later than you intended, and before you know it the sun has come up! By doing this on Friday, you still have two whole days to recover and the weekend feels longer.
Have a lie in on Saturday. It’s nice to allow yourself to wake naturally without the need for an alarm clock (assuming you have no plans that morning). Cook yourself your favourite breakfast, something you wouldn’t have time to do on a weekday. A bacon sandwich or full English usually does the trick, but if you can’t be bothered you could always amble down to a cafe to save yourself cooking. Use Saturday afternoon to do any jobs around the house that you’ve been putting off; DIY, cleaning, laundry. If you get this out the way, you’ll be able to put your feet up guilt free on Sunday.
Saturday night is great to go on a date or to catch up with an old friend. If you meet up with a large group, you’re likely to repeat Friday’s antics so keep it fun but tame. Take a trip to the cinema, bowling or to see some live music. Each of these activities can be enjoyed without going overboard with the booze. If you don’t have anyone to take out, book one of our stunning London escorts for the evening – they’ll make sure you have a great time!
Sunday is a day of rest. Use it to relax, put your feet up and have some ‘me’ time. If you’re lucky enough to have a gorgeous woman in your bed you can snuggle up there, or make your way to the sofa to watch your favourite TV programmes. By the time Monday comes around, you’ll feel refreshed and rejuvenated, feeling like you really made the most of your weekend!
