Commitment Phobia

Are you one of the millions of men who has a real phobia of commitment? Do you find yourself calling for a Hammersmith Escort, despite having a beautiful woman waiting at home? There are many reasons that men don’t want to commit. Here are just a few of the things that could be holding you back from popping the big question.

You’re Giving Up Too Much Even though you might have been faithful to your girlfriend for months or years, you still feel like you have the option to play the field if you wanted to. There are so many gorgeous girls out there, and by committing to just one you’re sacrificing the chance to meet all those other hotties. This can be especially true if you have ended up with your other half by accident, and you’re not really sure what you’re looking for.

Women Mature Faster Girls always seem to pride themselves on the fact that they mature quicker than men, but we like it that way. We don’t actually want to grow up – we will throw a tantrum if you make us throw our X Box away. Commitment means maturing and growing up, and quite frankly we want to put that off for as long as possible. Also, women have their biological clock ticking and are often eager to settle down before they’re 30; men just look better with age and are often more virile when in their 30s.

It’s Too Risky If a man isn’t 100% sure that things are going to work out, he won’t want to invest all of his emotion and energy into it. Some like to gamble, but others prefer to stick with a safe bet. It can also be hard if you’ve had a bad experience in the past and are left with baggage; if you’ve been hurt or dumped, it can make you afraid to commit as the power is then taken out of your hands.

We’re Not Ready to be Selfless If you find that you prioritise your mates, your job, your flat and your local football team over your relationship, you’re probably not ready to put your girlfriend first and commit to her. Being in a serious relationship requires you to be selfless – missing the big game to visit her parents, or leaving the pub early to be home in time for dinner. If that sounds like too much for you, you’re probably not in the right place to commit.
