Erogenous Zones
Erogenous zones are areas of the body that have heightened sensitivity, and can bring you physical pleasure by having them stimulated. These are the areas that should be concentrated on during foreplay to create sexual excitement and a better build up towards climax.
You will probably be familiar with your own erogenous zones through masturbation and self exploration; it is slightly more simple with males with the most sensitive areas all around the genitals. The penis, anus and testicles are the top three. Women, however, are a little more complicated and can be aroused in many ways. Here are some of the hot spots to look out for.
Lips, Neck & Ears Kissing or brushing a woman’s lips can be a real turn on, as can usage of the tongue. This is the best way to begin a sex session. Test the water because some are squeamish about their ears, but many women enjoy having their earlobes stimulated. Nibble them gently and whisper or breathe into their ears; don’t blow though as it can be uncomfortable. The neck and collar bones are also great areas to kiss and lick, especially around the back of the neck. There are more nerve endings here making it more sensitive to the touch.
Chest and Torso As if you’d need telling twice to touch a woman’s breasts; there are more nerve endings in the whole breast, especially in the nipple and areola. Smaller breasts are the most sensitive and more pressure can be applied to larger breasts. Some women feel a direct link to their genitals when their breasts are stimulated, but ask your partner to find out how she likes them touched, stroked or squeezed. The skin down her torso and abdomen is also sensitive to light touches, and is great to stroke with your fingertips or a feather to drive her into a frenzy. The closer you get to her pelvic region, the more sensitive the skin becomes. Work your way down to build her up in preparation for an amazing release.
The Public Region The erogenous zone with the most nerve endings on a woman is the clitoris. Stimulating this is the quickest and easiest way to bring her to orgasm. Just above the clitoris is the urethral opening; either side of this is a sensitive area called the U-Spot, made of erectile tissue.
If you want to find the infamous G-Spot, it can be found on the front wall of the vaginal canal, between 1 and 3 inches inside. Some gynaecologists still question the existence of the G-Spot, but some women achieve very powerful orgasms by having this area stimulated.
